I mentioned before that I wanted to print photos. Well, I finally got around to it and fortune smiled upon me!
See, I was looking on Pinterest, and came across this blog called Paislee Press. Their tagline brought me in: “embrace your inner minimalist” but it was really this post that got me hooked:
Not only that, the thing came with a free Photoshop template as well as super easy instructions.
Things I changed:
- The size of their template was for 5x7s, which are ten times as expensive as 4x6s. So, clearly, I sized it down. This is Frugal Portland, after all.
- After cutting 60 or 70 times, I adjusted my template to be smushed all the way over to the left, thereby reducing the number of steps.
I uploaded everything to Walgreens, found a coupon code (right now JULYPRINT40 works like a dream) and fifteen minutes later, picked them up from the store!
I covered my french doors between my living room and bedroom — and without even measuring, I was able to fit six photos in each pane. Amazing, right?
Here is my finished piece:
So, I have found that money does in fact buy happiness, it’s just that sometimes, happiness can be bought for less than $15.
